Oriental Scot 2010
Here’s the brilliant Oriental Scot winning a thrilling race back in 2010. The horse returned an SP of 4/1 which certainly had some punters joining in the celebrations at the finish.
throwing Roses 2013
In 2013, local favourite Throwing Roses won her first ever race at Thirsk, returning at a huge 16/1. We have particularly fond memories of this race as we were amongst the lucky punters who were there on the day and backed Thorwing Roses for the win! You can imagine the celebrations that followed in the town that night…
Tap On Wood 1979
This is a real blast from the past, and we have to be honest, it’s a little before our time! However we do know the horse Tap On Wood and it’s amazing to see this footage from all the way back in 1979. A great performance here to win this 2000 Guineas trial, and a reminder that Thirsk has seen some great champions over the years.
